Welcome to the RVA College MAP (Mentoring for Access and Persistence) page! This signature volunteer program of EY focuses on assisting underserved high schools in their efforts to see students pursue further education. Our Richmond mentors work with about 25 scholars at George Wythe High School for their junior and senior years providing lessons on relevant college topics, college tours, and awarding scholarships. But it does not stop there... Our mentors continue to keep in contact with our program collegians to provide ongoing support throughout their college years. We currently have two classes who have graduated – the first are rising college juniors while the second heads off to begin their freshman year this fall! We are gearing up to take on our third round of high school scholars who we will work with for the next two years – we couldn’t be more excited! Learn More »
